A Love Supreme – John Coltrane

A Love Supreme is THE most important album in jazz… period. It is an album of intense spirituality and to really appreciate it you need to stop what you are doing and allocate a  good chunk of time to turn up the volume and just listen.

The album was recorded at the Van Gelder Studios in 1964, alongside: Elvin Jones (drummer), McCoy Tyner (piano), and Jimmy Garrison (bass) . Here is the wiki link for further information.

It is my favourite album of all time, so I hope you enjoy.
