Highly recommend this book; its fun to read and well written. Sheelah tells the story of Steve Cohen, the Hedge Fund manager that started SAC, whom has subsequently setup his family office Point72 (now managing outside money again). Steven Cohen is a wall street legend, however his previous hedge fund SAC had a bout of high publicity insider trading scandals, which this book tells the story of. It reads like a gripping thriller of how the FBI and SEC unravelled a number of key cases against SAC employees and how they were ultimately trying to go after Steve Cohen. However, much to their disappointment, despite sending a few kingpin portfolio managers to jail they were unable to get anything on Steve Cohen. SAC had to close down, and Steve Cohen got a 2 year ban on managing outside capital. Since then Steve has started his family office Point72 with $10 bln and has since started managing outside money again. Great read for anyone into these kind of finance books.
